● About
Hi, I’m EMILY
I'm a brand strategist and fractional marketing partner specializing in beverage and consumer brands.
My expertise lives in the sweet spot between the lightbulb moment and actually getting the damn thing out the door.
I help growing brands figure out what deserves their attention, how to turn good products into memorable brands, lead the creative, and bring all the moving pieces of marketing together. Because good marketing isn't about doing more. It's about doing what matters.
I understand the work because I've done the work.
I started my career in brand design, which taught me to care deeply about how a brand looks, feels and communicates.
But I quickly became more interested in the bigger questions: What are we trying to accomplish? Who are we trying to reach? And is this actually the right thing to make?
That curiosity eventually led me into brand strategy, websites, campaigns and marketing leadership.
I’ve spent the last few years leading marketing from inside a growing brewery, working across packaging, product launches, advertising, retail, sales enablement, digital growth and creative production.
I've seen what happens after the big idea.
Production dates move. Distributors need materials. Sales needs support. The photographer needs a brief. The website needs updating. Budgets are real. And somehow, everything still needs to feel like the same brand.
That experience shapes the way I work today.
I don't just think about the marketing. I think about the impact it makes on every department.
● What you should know
Working TOgether
-
Growing breweries, beverage companies and founder-led consumer brands with genuinely good products and ambitious ideas.
You don't need a huge internal marketing department. In fact, many of my clients come to me because they've reached the point where they need experienced marketing leadership without hiring a full-time marketing director.
-
There are three primary ways to work together:
Fractional Marketing Partnership for brands that need ongoing strategy, leadership and creative direction.
Product Launches + Strategic Projects when you have something important to bring to market and want someone to lead the marketing from strategy through launch.
Brand Audits when you know something could be working better but need an experienced outside perspective to identify what and what to do about it.
-
Give me a great product and bring me in early.
I love taking a product launch from “we're making this” to “here's how we're bringing it to market.”
Positioning. Launch strategy. Creative direction. Packaging. Photography and video. Campaigns. Sales support. Digital rollout.
I like seeing the whole picture and making sure all those pieces tell the same story.
-
Strategic, creative, collaborative and practical.
I care deeply about how a brand looks and feels, but I'm not interested in making something beautiful just to make something beautiful.
There's always a why behind the work.
I'm also pretty straightforward. I'll tell you when I love an idea, when I think we can make it better, and when I think your budget would be better spent somewhere else.
-
Mostly.
I'm intentionally somewhere between a traditional consultant and an agency.
I can be hands-on where it makes sense, but I also lead and collaborate with designers, photographers, videographers, developers, printers, agencies and internal teams.
You're not hiring me to personally produce every deliverable.
You're hiring me to make sure the right work gets done, and that all of it works together.
-
No.
I keep a small client roster intentionally. You work directly with me, and when a project needs specialized creative or technical expertise, I bring in or work alongside the right people.
No account-manager shuffle. No giant team sitting in on calls. No mystery about who's actually doing the thinking or answering your email.
-
Social can absolutely be part of the strategy, but I'm not a daily social media manager.
I help determine what role social should play for a campaign.
If what you primarily need is someone to post every day and manage your content calendar, I'm probably not the right fit.
-
No.
Breweries and beverage brands are where I have recent experience, but I also work with founder-led consumer and product-based brands where brand, packaging, customer experience and creative play an important role in growth.
